It really ticks me when that happens and I always compare that to they way we treat customers. And, as it takes so darned long for them to make a darned coffee anyway....grrrrrr. Anyway I get back about 4.50pm and the job is running behind as the color copier is playing up, no surprise there. So Lynne the owner says it may take another half hour so I say no problem I'll wait and got my copies about 5.20pm. As I'm leaving the phone goes it’s one of her regular clients who has a rush job probably at least an hour’s work. Straight away she says if they email it over she’ll stay behind and get it done, in the end they say tomorrow morning will be OK. Owner mentality, being prepared to go the extra mile when necessary it’s one of the hardest things to get regular employees to understand why it matters so much.
